William J. Hill (aka “Bill”) is President and CEO of Mighty Auto Pro, an auto repair and maintenance facility located in Medina, Ohio.
Bill’s history in auto repair spans over 30 years. In 1997, he purchased Mighty Auto Pro and grew his 19-bay facility from a relative unknown to a highly successful shop.
In September of 2019 Bill was presented with the “Top Shop Award” from AAA (American Automobile Association) in his region. In 2018 Shop Owner Magazine presented Bill with the “WIX Driving Performance Award for being the top shop in the industry across the United States. Bill’s leadership and Team building strengths offer our clients the highest level of Customer Service. The residents of Medina County have also voted Mighty Auto Pro “Best Auto Repair Shop” 10+ years.
In addition Bill believes in supporting his Community with Educational Events for the ladies like Women, Wheels and Waffles and Boys Scout and Girl Scout Events to help them understand how a vehicle works and what you need to do to properly maintain them. Mighty Auto Pro was one of the founding shops for “Brakes for Breasts”. Brakes for Breasts unites the hands of independent auto repair shops across the Country to raise money for the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund.
Brakes for Breasts started in 2011, and thus far has raised over $740,000, of which every single penny goes directly to research. It is run by two volunteers with a budget of zero, so it is truly a grass roots fundraiser.
Bill co-authored his first book, “How to Buy a Great Used Car,” with Amy Mattinat of Auto Craftsman and has been featured on multiple occasions on Channel 5 News. He recently won the “Marketer of the Year” award in a nationwide contest and has been a featured speaker at various seminars.
Bill attributes his growth and success to exceptional customer service. In fact, he has recently co-authored his second book, “Whatever Happened to Outstanding Customer Service?” based on experiences that have driven him to be a leader in his field.
